In April of this year, I was fortunate to receive approval to start my own Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. One of the requirements of a new RIA firm, that is going to be managing client money, is to choose a custodial platform on which to buy and sell investments. There are quite a few choices in the marketplace for new firms to choose from, but I really wanted a firm that would provide state-of-the-art tools, leading-edge technology, outstanding customer service and innovative resources for both myself and my clients. I feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with the TradePMR team out of Gainesville, Florida. Although many of my clients were/are not familiar with TradePMR, they meet all of my objectives as a custodial platform and are truly one of the best options for what I needed to start my firm.

TradePMR was established in 1998 with one major focus; to provide excellent service to advisors and their clients through cutting edge technology and first-class resources. Today they are still a small firm, with less than 100 employees, serving roughly 1000 advisors across the country.  I love the fact that when either myself or my staff calls in, they know us by name and are willing to do whatever is needed to help us and our clients and they do so with a smile.

 Within a month of starting my firm I made the decision to fly to Miami Florida for TradePMR’s annual conference. Traveling from the west coast all the way to south Florida takes all day, but the travel and expense were well worth the costs to get to know TradePMR and their team better.

While at the conference I had the incredible opportunity to meet the staff that provide excellent service, to learn about the most recent technology available to advisors and to network with other advisors from throughout the country that also work with TradePMR.  Work aside, I also enjoyed an afternoon cruising the Miami channels on a chartered yacht, allowing me to relax and take in the beauty of Florida.

I'm extremely pleased with the opportunity to be working with TradePMR.  I believe that the value we will provide to our existing and future clients will only be increased because of our new relationship with this incredible firm.
